The speaker for the 2010 GBCD Conference on September 17 – 19 will be Bill Atwell. Bill Atwell is a native of Georgia. He graduated from TTU, Chattanooga, in 1991 and married his college sweetheart, Laura, in 1992. Bill was called to be a pastor in 1997. He was pastor of a deaf church in San Antonia, TX for four years. He is pastor of First Baptist Deaf Chapel, Beaumont, TX. He is studying for his Doctorate at Lamar University. A Certified Deaf Interpreter (CDI), Bill trains interpreters to best voice and interpret God’s Word. The Atwell’s have two children, Antonio and Marianna.
